R + L Carriers initially started with one truck in 1965 with Ralph L “Larry” Roberts. Initially it turned from an Ohio based carrier in the 1980’s and slowly began servicing the midwest, and the south by late 1980’s. In the 1990’s R + L slowly made its way to becoming an LTL carrier nationwide. R+L CARRIERS now serves a total of 50 states plus Canada, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
